4 arrested on drug charges at Warwick hotel

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A drug investigation at a Warwick hotel resulted in four people being arrested and charged on Tuesday.

Warwick police said they executed a search warrant for one of the rooms and discovered 110 grams of methamphetamine, assorted pills, packaging equipment, scales and $989 in cash, along with the four suspects: Jeffrey Aubin, Jennifer Santos, Derek James Pedro and Kyle J. Souza.

Aubin, 41, of East Providence, and Santos, 37, of Lincoln, were charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell while Pedro, 40, of New Bedford, and Souza, 33, of Fall River, were charged with possession of a Schedule I-IV substance. 

Aubin also had bench warrants for possession of schedule I-IV and obstructing an officer, according to police.

All four suspects were held for arraingment.

Police did not name the hotel because the investigation remains active.
