EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — February is Black History Month, when the nation honors the triumphs and struggles of African Americans.
From a Pawtucket native working in the nation’s capital to the Rhode Island National Guard’s first Black colonel, 12 News is showcasing how local people are paying tribute to the past while blazing their own trails today.
