RI hospitals graded on patient safety

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Hospitals across Rhode Island were recently graded in terms of their safety.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide looks at how health care facilities keep their patients from errors, injuries, accidents and infections.

Four of Rhode Island’s hospitals received an A: Rhode Island Hospital, Miriam Hospital, South County Hospital and Newport Hospital.

Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket received a B, while Kent County Hospital and Westerly Hospital were given C’s.
