PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) ─ Bristol Town Administrator Steven Contente joined 12 News Now at 4 to discuss the upcoming Fourth of July Parade and other summer events happening in the community.

He also addressed an obscure town ordinance that makes it a crime to have a dog along the parade route.
