WARREN, R.I. (WPRI) — Those who are fans of the Food Network show “Chopped” may have seen a familiar face in the most recent episode.

Not only did the show feature Chef Eli Dunn of Eli’s Kitchen in Warren on Tuesday night’s episode, he also won the competition.

Dunn bested three other chefs in a series of competitions, serving up appetizers, entrees and desserts.

“I cook as an act of service, I love to make people happy,” Dunn said on the show.

Back home, Dunn’s family, friends and regular customers cheered him on from a watch party hosted by Hope & Main.

Dunn not only put Warren on the map, but he also took home a $10,000 cash prize.
