PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island’s new license plate design was unveiled on Wednesday, leading to mixed reactions from residents.
State leaders claim the design earned more than half of the 300,000 votes cast in the contest, but some feel it’s too similar to the plates we’ve had since 1996.
