PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Gov. Dan McKee earned a new title earlier this week.
On top of being the governor, McKee is now officially a grandfather.
McKee said his son Matthew and daughter-in-law Laura welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Mabel, into the world Monday.
“It was a very exciting day for the McKee family,” the governor said.
