PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The annual Hasbro Heroes Ball celebrated its 25th anniversary Saturday night at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Over the years, the black-tie affair has raised millions of dollars to benefit Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
Eyewitness News Chief Meteorologist Tony Petrarca and Sports Director Yianni Kourakis were among the several hundred people in attendance.
The night featured dinner and dancing while also honoring patients and families who serve as inspirational heroes, as well as community heroes.
The ball also included an auction for several exciting items including a “Taste & Tour” of Rhode Island, an “Ultimate Boston Sports Experience,” and a stay at a private villa in St. James, Barbados.
WPRI 12 and Fox Providence are proud sponsors of the Hasbro Heroes Ball.
