Anita Baffoni joined the 12 News team in August 2018.
She earned a degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island in 2013. While in college, she interned at the Warwick Beacon, Cranston Herald and Johnston Sunrise newspapers.
Prior to joining the WPRI 12 team, Anita began her career in Rhode Island media as a reporter for the daily newspaper, the Kent County Daily Times, covering politics and general assignments in West Warwick and Coventry. She then moved into broadcast media, working at News Talk 630 & 99.7 FM WPRO as a news reporter and fill-in anchor.
