WASHINGTON (WPRI) -- Campaign finance reform legislation co-sponsored by Rep. David Cicilline is still awaiting a vote in the house.

According to a release from Cicilline's office Thursday, the congressman has signed a petition to bring the Disclosure Act to a vote.

Cicilline's office says the act would require disclosure of special interest and corporate money in politics.

Cicilline is facing a primary challenge this fall from democrat Anthony Gemma.
