Another RI beach closed to swimming

High bacteria found at Atlantic Beach Club beach

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WPRI) - The Rhode Island Department of Health has recommended closing a local beach to swimming.

Officials say Atlantic Beach Club Beach in Middletown has tested positive for high bacteria.

The water will monitored and will reopen when it's safe for swimming.
