Attleboro gets EPA grant for clean-ups
Money to pay for hazardous material removal

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) -- The Environmental Protection Agency has given Attleboro close to half a million dollars to clean up contamination at two former industrial properties.
The $400,000 grant was awarded Friday to the Attleboro Redevelopment Authority.
It will pay for the removal of hazardous materials at the former sites of Automatic Machine and American Metalcraft, opening them to redevelopment.
"These grants are going to help us do the final bit of clean-up." said Attleboro Redevelopment Authority Chair Judy Robbins. "We are already talking to a developer."
