PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI)- A Central Falls man, arrested in connection with six different robberies at gas stations and convenience stores, claims he has been mis-identified.
25-year-old Hector Andrade faced a judge Tuesday on various charges.
Andrade blames an uncle who had access to his car on the days the robberies were committed.
Providence police say Andrade's purple Hyundai was seen leaving the scene of one of the holdups.
Officers also found clothes worn during the robberies at his house.
Andrade is being held without bail.
