Susan Campbell joined the Eyewitness News Team in December 2011 as a video journalist. Though she's a native Ohioan, she's proud to call the Ocean State her new home.
Susan landed her first job in television news as a reporter and producer at WKTV in Utica, N.Y. Before making her move the to East Coast, Susan was also a health reporter and general assignment reporter at WFMJ in Youngstown, Ohio. There she was recognized by the Press Club of Cleveland and the Ohio Associated Press Broadcasters Association for her breaking news coverage of an armed robbery on Christmas Eve and a gas main break that forced the evacuation of dozens of toddlers from a local daycare.
Susan graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with bachelor's degrees in broadcast journalism, political science and Spanish. As part of her undergraduate studies she spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain.
In her free time, Susan enjoys reading mystery novels, playing the piano, cooking, traveling, and cheering for the Syracuse Orange!
