REHOBOTH, M.A. (WPRI) - Police in Rehoboth are investigating the theft of a bulldozer.
The $85,000 piece of equipment was stolen from a home under construction on Brook Street Sunday afternoon.
Phil Ippolito says he has been trying to track down his construction company's bulldozer since he first discovered it was gone.
"I'm very upset, " said Ippolito. "It's very upsetting. I'm losing days out of work because all I'm doing is trying to track this thing down."
Police say someone loaded the bulldozer onto a flat bed trailer in broad daylight and drove off with it.
"It's a big loss, but we'll keep moving on," said Ippolito.
Ippolito says the home he is working on is nearly complete, but he'll need to rent a tractor to finish it.
If you have any information on this theft, please call Rehoboth police.
