BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) - One year ago today, Jonathan Converse. a Barrington teen waskilled in a car crash.
Now, the victim's family wants other parents and teens to bevigilant about drinking and driving. Converse attended BarringtonHigh School and in the years since his death, his father, DanConverse has spoken at the school.
It's in an effort to prevent another family from sharing hissame pain. At the crash scene where Jonathan Converse lost his lifea year ago today, his friends gathered and father remembered.
Dan has made it his mission to get the message out thattragedies like this can happen to anyone.
"There are no boundaries or discrimination," says DanConverse.
Friends say that the message is getting through.
