HOPKINTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- A Richmond man has been charged with first degree child molestation.
Police arrested Jonathan Maggs, 20, following a week-long investigation. Officials say Maggs had a three month long consensual sexual relationship with a 13-year old girl from Hopkinton. The relationship lasted from mid-sumemr through November 2012.
Maggs was arrested Friday by Richmond and Hopkinton police. He was ordered held without bail pending a hearing on January 16.
