WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- A hearing surrounding a former Chariho school committee member accused of violating Rhode Island's social host law has been postponed.
Terri Serra was charged following a crash that injured four students back in October of 2011.
Prosecutors argue the students were at an underage drinking party at Serra's Richmond home. A judge was expected to rule Friday on a constitutional challenge to the social host law, but it has been put off until Monday.
Serra has pleaded not guilty to breaking that law, and in November was found not guilty of failing to render aid to the victims of that crash.
The new hearing will take place at 2 p.m. in Warwick.
