EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – A Providence man has been charged in connection with a Sunday morning stabbing in East Providence.
Ray L. Luna, 22, of 142 Putnam Street, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held at the Adult Correctional Institute, according to East Providence Police Captain Richard Frazier.
The altercation took place around 2:30 on Sunday morning after a fight broke out during a house party on Bliss Street. The 21-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, has been released from the hospital.
Luna will be arraigned in the 6 th District court Wednesday morning.
