CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - Firefighters responded to a building fire on Dyer Avenue onMonday afternoon.
Fire crews tell Eyewitness News the firestarted at an abandoned gas station.
The fire chief said there was a ventilation issue while fightingthe blaze.
"It presented a problem in this area, minor problem in gainingentry to ventilate this area so the attack crews could get into thefire area. It was super hot, no ventilation. The heat just builds,"said Dep. Chief Jeffrey Wall.
State and city fire marshals are investigating. No one wasinjured in the fire. No word on what caused the fire to breakout.
