(FOX Providence) - The top 12 boys of American Idol took the stage Wednesday night signing for your votes, but it seems like the judges may be right. This really could be the girls' year.

Most of Wednesday night's performances were pretty dull, so The Rhode Show brought in their Idol experts to dissect the guys' performance.

Idol expert TJ Del Santo, and Idol insider Amedeo hash out what they thought of the guys performances.

Watch the attached video for their full recap.

Meanwhile, Amedeo hasn't given up siging after he left American Idol during Hollywood week. In fact, he has a song that he wrote and performed for The Rhode Show.

Amedeo's original song is called "Wonder."

He'll be joining The Rhode Show through out the Idol season, so this isn't the last you've seen of him!
