Trini's Tacos

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (FOX Providence) - Today in Quick Bites, our TV Maitre d’ Joe Zito discovers a tiny restaurant in a North Kingstown strip mall that captures the ambiance of the Southwest and combines it with delicious Mexican food.

Trini’s Tacos in North Kingstown serves up authentic Mexican dishes with Texas flair. Co-owner Charlene Wesley describes the recipes as “all El Paso – what real Mexican should taste like.”

The recipes used at the restaurant are a family tradition, passed down from Charlene’s Mexican-born grandmother.

Though the restaurant has only been open for a few months, it has already garnered a steady following of regulars and repeat customers via word of mouth.

The restaurant is located at 7669 Post Road in North Kingstown. The menu is kid-friendly and the entrees are under $10.
