PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Providence firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire that started in the parking garage at the Providence Place Mall on Saturday.
Crews responded to the mall just before 5:30PM on Saturday for a car fire that sent heavy smoke billowing into the air.
Officials tell Eyewitness News that the fire started when a car caught fire and spread to two nearby vehicles.
No one was injured in the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
