Football isn't just for the boys anymore. For the first time in Florida's history, a female player will take the field as her high school's quarterback.

"It makes me feel good because I want to inspire other girls to come out and like, and do something that someone told them they can't do," says 17-year-old senior Erin DiMeglio.

Her biggest goal this year: to throw a touchdown.

"That all I'm looking forward to," she says.
