ISSAQUAH, Wash. (CNN) - It was hard to keep students focused on class when outside one fourth grade classroom window, a mama bear and three cubs walked through campus.
This video was shot at Issaquah Valley Elementary school Wednesday.
The school was put in lockdown until Fish and Wildlife officers brought in a dog to make sure the bears had already left the school grounds.
A state wildlife official says sightings like these are pretty common around Issaquah, which is just outside of Seattle.
A buffet of fruit trees, garbage cans and a creek full of salmon lure bears into town. If they become a problem, they can be trapped and moved.
