DES MOINES, Iowa (CNN/KCCI) - Money doesn't grow on trees, and pumpkins don't either. Or do they?
People noticed the first pumpkin, suspended in mid-air, about 12 feet off the ground in a tree in a Des Moines, Iowa neighborhood.
A second pumpkin then started growing in a different spot.
So, how did this happen? A pumpkin tree vine grew up the tree, spread down a branch and then the pumpkins formed after that.
Some crops in Iowa are growing fast this year, following torrential rain this summer.
