PROVIDENCE, RI (AP/WPRI) - The season's first major snowfall brought some power outages to the south coast of Massachusetts and slow driving across the state for the few drivers who ventured out.

The storm affecting major airports in the Northeast meant delays and cancellations for holiday air travelers at T.F. Geeen and Logan airports.

Next up: another storm tomorrow that's expected to bring more snow to the northern regions and rain mixed with snow in southern and eastern areas.

Snowfall is expected to be 8 to 12 inches across the area by the time it completely winds down this morning.
