WAKEFIELD, R.I. (WPRI) -- Due to the impending impact of Hurricane Sandy, all outpatient services and elective surgical services have been canceled at South County Hospital Monday.
The hospital tells us that they're working to notify all patients of cancelations and reschedule all appointments.
Canceled services include, but are not limited to:
We're also told the hospital has implemented emergency preparations for the storm by stocking up on emergency food, water, and medical and power supplies. Although, the hospital will not act as an emergency shelter during the storm. Find a full list of available shelters in our Pinpoint Storm Beat.
Anyone seeking more information about specific cancelations should call South County Hospital's main number at (401) 782-8000.
