PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- As a result of the hurricane bearing down on Rhode Island, trash collection in the capital city has been pushed back another day.
Providence officials tell us that both garbage and recycling will be picked up between Wednesday and Saturday.
We've also learned that yard waste pickup has been suspended until next week.

Mayor Angel Taveras is set to hold a news conference at 4 p.m. Monday to update residents on the storm's impact in the city.
