CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - Nearly two years after getting out of prison, reputed mob enforcer Gerald "Gerry" Tillinghast is in trouble with the law again.
He is accused of running an illegal drug, gun and gambling operation, along with fellow Patriarca Crime Family associate Nicholas "Nicky" Pari.
Tillinghast was released from the ACI in January 2007, after spending nearly 30 years in prison for killing loan shark George Basmajian.
Troopers say Tillinghast was running his illegal operation while he was still behind bars.
