CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - The Cranston janitor fired after he was caught on camera tampering with a time clock is fighting for his job back.
Target 12 Investigators broke the story last fall and have now learned janitorial supervisor Neal Emmett appeared at an arbitration hearing Wednesday morning.
Emmett was implicated in hidden camera video, showing him altering a time clock at Western Hills Middle School on Phenix Ave., and then punching several time cards.
Superintendent Peter Nero recommended Emmett be fired after the Target 12 story aired.
It will be several weeks before the arbitrator makes a decision about Emmett's future.
