PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - In the 23rd year of the CVS Caremark Downtown 5K, Ben True became the first back-to-back winner of the race.
In the women's elite division, Olympian Molly Huddle got the win in a time of 15:30. Huddle lives and trains in Providence and is also a repeat winner having finished first in the 2010 Downtown 5K.
True finished the men's race in a time of 13:52.
There were also as many as 10,000 non-elite runners who ran in the race.
