(WPRI) - The Providence Bruins defeated the Portland Pirates 7-2 Sunday afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
The P-Bruins got goals from Brad Marchand, Adam McQuaid, Kirk MacDonald and two goals each from Vladimir Sobotka and Andy Wozniewski.
Dany Sabourin stopped 23 of 25 shots for the P-Bruins, while Jhonas Enroth made 19 saves and Jean-Philippe Lamoureux made 12 saves for the Pirates.
The P-Bruins were 4-for-10 on the power play and 3-for-4 on the penalty kill.
The P-Bruins are back at The Dunk Friday, October 23 at 7:05 p.m. for Tote Bag Night against the Sharks.
