(WPRI) - PawSox pitcher Clay Buchholz continued Thursday to prove why he may be back in the majors soon.
The starter pitched another gem, going seven innings and only giving up three runs on six hits to get his fourth win of the season. Buchholz's ERA for the season now stands at just 1.74.
The win broke the PawSox out of a four-game losing streak.
At the plate, Pawtucket DH Chris Carter had the Sox only homer, but 2B Travis Denker and Paul McAnulty added 2 RBI apiece in the 7-3 win.
