WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) – Eight flights flew into T.F. Green Airport on Friday from Baltimore, many with Ravens fans who are convinced their trip to Rhode Island will end with a AFC Championship win.
In less than two days the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens will face off in a game that will mean a trip to the Super Bowl for one team.
It is a long-awaited rematch for die-hard Ravens fans Tim Judson and his son Max.
“It’s a new game and anything can happen,” said Max.
Tim Judson originally booked their flight to T.F. Green airport for his son to play hockey, but when he realized the Ravens advanced to the AFC and would be playing in New England, he rushed and bought their tickets because they want to see their home team win.
“Aww, we’re going to win. We’re going to the Super Bowl!” said Tim.
Win or lose, it’s a win-win for the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts because business will be booming.
