INDIANAPOLIS - Patriots fans heading to Indianapolis for Super Bowl 46 now have one less option for parking in the city.

A low-cost Park and Ride Program offering $2 parking spots and shuttle rides to Super Bowl events sold out before the festivities even began.

"There is plenty of parking available and lots of garages downtown," says Super Bowl Host Committee member Mel Raines, who insists the city did not underestimate the amount of incoming traffic, and has no plans to open another Park and Ride lot.

"We're sticking with [our plan]. We're going to execute well with what we have planned for months."

As of Friday, January 27th, there were still plenty of parking options available, but they will cost you.  Prices start as low at $16.50 for parking about .6 miles, or six blocks, from the Super Bowl village.  For $26 you could cut that distance in half.

On Super Bowl Sunday, parking prices will rise dramatically, and the Park and Ride lots will not be running.
