FOXBORO, MASS. (WPRI) - Fans turn out at Gillette Stadium Monday to welcome the Patriots back from a disappointing Super Bowl loss.
"We are winners all the way. A great organization. I love this organization," says Ann Galvin.
"Being a fan runs deeper than just championships. You gotta love your team in the good times and the bad times and we gotta let them know that we still love them," says Tom Dietzel, a member of the Patriots End Zone Militia.
Players cleaned out their lockers and reflected on the season.
"We win as a team, we lose as a team, and we lost to a good football team," says Patriots safety, James Ihedigbo.
"I have all the respect in the world for the team and all the players," Head coach Bill Belichick says.
Patriots owner Robert Kraft thanked the fans.
"I will forever remember the special effort that the fans have given and the support they've given to my family," says Kraft.
