Ocean State Ice Theatre

(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Heroes are kids at the Ocean State Ice Theatre. In only their 2nd year of competing nationally the Ocean State Ice Theatre of Rhode Island brought home two gold medals and a bunch of other prestigious awards from the International Ice Theatre Competition in Chicago.

The team is the only of its kind in Rhode Island and has grown in its two short years from 8 members to almost 25.

This hard working group receives help for costumes and travel through good old fundraising and hard work.
