Dot Zullo

(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Dot Zullo.  Dot is pioneering the way for Race Walking in Southern New England.

A competitive race walker for over 18 years Dot competes in over 30 competitions a year from across the NorthEast, and is the Ocean State's best race walker in both the female and male categories.

But Dot is not just raising awareness of her sport, as a mammographer she also helps to raise awareness for breast cancer and helps to save lives every day.
