Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero

(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Steven Vazquez. The Central Falls senior is the two time defending Outdoor High Jump state champion and a reigning All-American, with a personal best leap of 6’10, three inches shy of the 15-year old state record.

Vazquez shined on the football field for the Warriors and he is also playing this winter for CF’s basketball team. Steven is hoping to continue his track and field career next year at the Division I level.
