(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Michael Carter-Williams. The St. Andrew’s senior became the first-ever player from a RI high school to play in the McDonald’s All-American Game.

The two-time Gatorade player of the Year in Rhode Island, Carter-Williams scored over 2,200 points in his career with the Saints. The 6’5 guard will play at Syracuse next season.
