Elizabeth Beisel

(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Elizabeth Beisel. When it comes to swimming in Rhode Island, North Kingstown's Beisel is unquestionably the best of the best.

After wrapping up her high school swimming career with the Skippers this month earning 8 individual state titles, Liz will be taking her talents to the division one level next year swimming for the University of Florida, and training to make another run at an Olympic medal in 2012.
