Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero

(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is RIC senior Rachel Riley. The Coventry native recently scored her 1,000 career point and is nearing in on her 1,000 which would make her only the third woman to reach those numbers for the Anchorwomen.

The former All-Stater, earned first team All Little East honors last year and is a standout in the classroom, sporting a 3.8 GPA. Coming off a program best 20 win season, Riley and her teammates are aiming for RIC's 1st ever NCAA tournament bid.
