(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is LaSalle graduate Peter Picerelli. The two time All-State pick accepted a scholarship offer to punt for Tulane University.

A member of Conference-USA, new Green Wave Head Coach Curtis Johnson and his staff signed the Warren resident after he received interest from the Naval Academy and the University of Pennsylvania.
