(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Mike Meyers. When it comes to the 125 pound weight class in New England, Warwick Vets Junior Mike Meyers is the best of the best.
Not only is Mike a three time Rhode Island Wrestling Champion, he also just won his 2nd New England Title. Mike also holds one of the best wrestling records in state history, with one hundred and twenty-four wins and just one loss, this junior is well on his way to becoming one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Rhode Island.
