(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Mike King. The Hendricken senior completed a busy summer, competing against the best high school players in national in the Area Code games.

He was then picked to participate in the Summer Rivalry Game, coming out of bullpen to pitch at Yankee Stadium. The right hander has already committed to pitch in the ACC next year at Boston College but before he heads to Chestnut Hill, King is hoping to help lead the Hawks to another state title
