Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero

(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Mary-Kate Rizzuto. After 3 years on the Barrington Eagles JV Basketball team, senior Mary-Kate Rizzuto worked hard this summer to achieve her goal of making the division one basketball team.
Although she may be the smallest on the team she also has the biggest heart. Born with down syndrome, Mary-Kate has inspired everyone on the Eagles basketball team at Barrington, not only making her first official start on senior night this year but also knocking in her second varsity basket.
