(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Warwick’s David Jessen. The 15-year old finished second in the All-Around Level 10 14-15 year competition at the US Junior Championships earning him the right to compete at the Visa Championships.

The Toll Gate freshman can earn a spot on the National Team with a top seven finish in St. Louis. The Jessen’s are truly a gymnastic team. David’s Mom, Hana, competed for the Czech Republic at two Olympic Games and his Dad, Lorin, has been coaching gymnastics for over 30 years.
