(WPRI) - This week's Cardi's Hometown Sports Hero is Ashley Olson. Fresh off of leading CCRI to a 7th straight regional title, sophomore Ashley Olson has rewritten the Knights record book and is now the career leader in hits, RBIs and triples.

The Coventry native and Oaker's 2 time all-state catcher is on the verge of earning her 2nd straight All-American Honor, boasting a .505 batting average which ranks 26th in the nation in Junior College ball.
