The Rhode Island high school cross country state meets took place Sunday at Ponagansett High School.
For the girls, La Salle's Molly Leating finished first beating Barrington's Abagail Jones who finished second and Cranston West's Ariana Collella who finished third.
La Salle also won the team competition.
For the boys, Hendricken's Jake Sienko won the meet followed by Cranston West's Robert Allen and Alex Gallo from North Providence.
Sienko's win led Hendricken to the team title.
